Here’s another gluten-free dish that’s simple and delicious: Apple-potatoes with roasted onions!
Recipe: Serves 2.
750 g apples (peeled and cut into pieces) , 750 g potatoes (peeled and cut into pieces), 100 g butter, 3 onions (cut into rings), salt, sugar and a dash of lemon juice.
Cook the potatoes for 20 minutes in salted water. In a another pot with a small amount of salted water, together with 50 g butter and some sugar, cook the apple pieces until soft. Drain the potatoes and add to the apples. Season with lemon juice. Melt the rest of the butter and gently roast the onion rings. Serve with apple-potatoes.
