Surveillance is everywhere. Sometimes it even looks like a flock of sea gulls! At least this is what comes into my mind when looking at the Nest series installations of Czech artist Jakub Geltner. He brings groups of cameras or satellite dishes onto public places – the sea-shore, house walls, piers. On the first glance one automatically thinks it’s a normal view – just a few birds resting. Then comes the surprise: Cameras? Satellite dishes? Like I told you… surveillance is everywhere ;).
