Fish & Tangerine!

Fish 2Pic by Franzi.

In one of my old cookbooks I recently found a funny sounding fish recipe: A baked combination with tinned tangerine. The recipe had the name „Fish that also tastes Kids“. I tried it and have to announce that I will repeat it! Old cookbooks are the best!

Recipe: Serves 2.

Ingredients: 3-4 codfish filets, 1 lemon, salt, paprika, 30 g butter, 2 carrots, 1 piece of celery root, 1 leek stem, app. 220 g tinned tangerines, 1 cup sour cream, 1 TblSp grated cheese.

Preparation: Baste the fish filets with lemon juice, lets pull through. Cut the vegetables into thin slices, roast in the melted butter. Top with fish filets, the rinsed tangerines and a bit of tangerine juice. Souse with sour cream. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake app. 20 minutes at 200 °C.

Enjoy!
