Here comes my third green recipe and thus my monthly challenge of eating greener is nearly over – only one more green recipe. This time I chose an extremely simple recipe: In a parchment bag steamed zucchini sticks. They are easy to prepare and serve either as a great side dish or as the perfect starter. And who doesn’t love zucchini?!
Ingredients: Serves 1- 2.
1 Zucchini, 3 TblSps olive oil, 1TSp Herbes de Provence, pepper, salt.
Cut the zucchini into 5 cm long sticks and put them into a parchment bag. Add the Herbes de Provence, salt, pepper and olive oil. Seal the bag and slightly shake it to mix the ingredients with each other. Put into the oven for 25 min at app. 220 °C. Open carefully the bag – take care that you don’t get burned by the hot steam!
