A Song For Tuesday: White Daisy Passing by Rocky Votolato!

Today’s song is (again) a recommendation by my pal Birte: White Daisy Passing by the US-based singer-songwriter Rocky Votolato. Since I cannot resist any folk tunes his music fits perfectly: A bit singer-songwriter, a bit folk, a bit indie and a bit country. Thanks Birte! Have fun listening! A Song For Tuesday: The Woodpile by The Frightened Rabbit!

Today’s song was recommended to me by Birte: The Frightened Rabbit, a Glasgow-based indie rock band. Their pure and lazy sound fits nice with the first day of December! Have fun listening! Le Fits!

My inbox often contains music suggestions (and lots of spam mails). Only rarely it happens that I actually like the songs I find there. Le Fits with their just released album Fisticuffs were the big exception. Their sound is located somewhere between indie rock and folk and I am already a big fan! Have fun

Kakkmaddafakka!

Kakkmaddafakka… okay, this band really has a strange name, but nevertheless they are somehow in my ears for quite some time now. Especially in Berlin. For me, this Norwegian band  simply belongs to the sound of the city. Maybe it’s the happy-go-lucky attitude of their songs. Or maybe simply their craziness. I don’t care why
