The Present is an award-winning short film, based on a little comic strip by Fabio Coala. It was produced by Jacob Frey as his graduation short at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany. It run on over 180 film festivals and won more than 50 awards! I strongly recommend you to take the time and watch the whole 4 minutes and 18 seconds – then you will know what makes this short so successful. …It’s not surprising that Jacob Frey is working now for Disney.
