Canadian artists Catherine King and Wayne Adams would never have been able to afford real estate, so they decided to start building a floating island on a lake, called Freedom Cove. The whole complex is built without power tools – Adam says he knows every board and nail by name. It incorporates four greenhouses, a garden, living quarters, a kitchen, a workshop, an art gallery, a lighthouse and a dance floor. This short clip by Great Big Story gives an impression about the life on Freedom Cove.
