Yippi! A new Gourmet Box arrived! Once again it was filled with lots of delicious surprises :). Here is what I found inside of it:
Balsamic Mustard by Remstaler Senfmanufaktur… I love mustard and can’t await to try out this new flavour combination!
Egg Cookies by Hanneforth food for you… Those egg cookies are free of gluten and lactose. I did like them… But are egg cookies really something one should call „gourmet“?!
Havelwasser (pear juice with white wine) by Rafael Kugel… This juice-wine combination sounds like the perfect spring & summer drink!
FINESSE Gourmet magazine… I am still a big fan of cooking zines. This one might contain too much ads, but also gorgeous food pics!
HELLO Sweet Popcorn & HELLO Mini Stick Mix by Lindt & Sprüngli GmbH… Both chocolate creations are tasty and I ate them within minutes ;).
Fruit Masala by WUNSCHCURRY.DE… A special spice mix with cinnamon, aniseed, coriander, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and pimento. Wonderful for fruit salads (like in the recipe below) and porridge.
Noble Touch black tea by ambré… Tea is always a good idea :).
Conclusion: I am still not convinced that the box deserves the name „gourmet“. Nevertheless it contained once more many delicious little treats and it’s always thrilling to unwrap the surprises.
Recipe Fruit Masala Salad: Serves 2.
Ingredients: 2 plums, 1 banana, 1 kiwi, 1 apple, app. 100 g goat cheese (cut into pieces), 3 TblSps honey, 2 TblSps olive oil, 2 TblSps sherry, 1/2 TblSp fruit masala.
Preparation: Peel the fruits and cut them into pieces. Mix the oil and the sherry, add to fruits and goat cheese pieces. Drizzle with honey and top with fruit masala. Mix well.
Enjoy!
I got the Gourmet Box for free. Nevertheless, I only stated my own opinions . I’m happy to answer all questions regarding blog corporations in a personal message. Yes – i absolutely agree, egg cookies aren’t really gourmet. But the Havelwasser though sounds really good for a hot summer day. I’m wondering if i can get it here in Ffm?
I tried the Havelwasser already and it’s really good. I guess you can order it online (the link is in the post).
