Deichkind are a German phenomenon: I didn’t like them … until I (more or less accidentally) saw one of their spectacular concerts. They are still not on my regular playlist, but their songs radiate an enormous power and their texts often speak out (loud) what no one else is daring to say/sing. I couldn’t even decide for just three songs here in this post. Their new album Niveau Weshalb Warum (love this pun!) is out now and will certainly make me jump on the dance floor and cry out load „Denken Sie Groß!“.
