Smeared Skies by Matt Molloy!

This week the weather was crazy in Germany. We had it all – from a clear blue sky to massive rain to thick morning fog. One day I had to wear my winter jacket again, the other day a t-shirt would have been completely sufficient (but since I didn’t realize this change in temperatures soon enough, I ended wearing my winter jacket anyway). All eyes were up at the sky lately, checking for the presence of heavy clouds. Thus, those impressive Smeared Skies photos by Canada-based Matt Molloy seemed quite fitting for today’s Arts & Books post. By using the technique of time-lapse photography he combines up to several hundred pictures to reveal the change of the clouds and colors at the sky – thereby showing us the beauty and the diversity of nature!

I wish you all a weekend full of clear skies!
