I’m feeling a bit sick today, so I will not prepare a“real“ Special Monday post, but admit my body the rest that it craves right now. Nevertheless, I hope you are all enjoying your long weekend and celebrating Pentecost Monday with your friends and family. Pentecost is a holiday that brings a lot of childhood memories to me: The first hot spring days in the summer home of my grandparents – us all sitting at a coffee table under a big chestnut tree and enjoying the cake my grandma prepared or the firts strawberries. And I have to think about cockchafers – the real ones and the ones made of chocolate. Funny those childhood memories sometimes.
