Saturday is always the day, where I first go to the farmer’s market and afterwards meet good friends in the best coffeehouse ever, the Lillys in Osnabrück. And nearly every time I’m there, I drink either their tasty chai tea or one of their incredibly good shakes – most of the times a Very Berry Shake.
UNFORTUNATELY, the Lillys will close end of April and I am still clueless, where I will spend my saturday afternoons from then on. But at least, I know how to prepare a Very Berry Shake by myself. There are two variations: You can either make a dairy-free shake or a Lillys-like shake with cream.
Combine in a big bowl 2 cups mixed frozen berries, one cup apple juice/cream and 1 cup water. Blend until smooth.
