Tote Loving: Berliner Beutelwirtschaft

Last X-mas, totes were my favourite gifts for friends. They are stylish, up-to-date, affordable and practical. I use them everyday: For shopping, on concerts (to stuff my jacket inside), or every other common day for carrying books and all this stuff one needs in life.

My search for perfect, pretty totes led me soon to the Berliner Beutelwirtschaft and its DaWanda-Shop, which sells handmade totes produced and designed in my beloved Berlin. The designs are inventive and the handles are long enough to wear them even diagonally across the body -very convenient while dancing or riding a bike ;).

Do you like totes or do you prefer „real“ bags for your shopping/dancing…? Let me know!

  1. I have to admit that i never really cared about totes before except when going to the supermarket they come in handy. Only once back in Aussie there was this store called Coles (i think it’s a chain) where you could buy these green, environmental-friendly shopping bags. Must admit i loved them and miss them over here in Europe. Why don’t they have them here?

    1. These Coles bags look really practical and colourful I have to admid. But nevertheless, I believe even our German totes are worth to be worn more often 😉

    1. You should try totes (the beautiful ones) even for non-shopping purposes. They are multifunctional 😉 And thanks for the link, now I know what you two are talking about 🙂
