I was so often sick this year, I created a row of hot recovery beverages: Do you remember the Hot Toddy and the lemon ginger tea with a dash of honey? Now comes a slight variant of the latter: A hot orange ginger tea, the mild version.
Recipe: Makes 1 cup.
Ingredients: Juice from 1 orange, a piece of fresh ginger, boiled water.
Preparation: Peel the ginger and either cut it into thin slices or – if you like it as spicy as me – grind it. Combine the orange juice and ginger in a cup. Fill up with fresh boiled water.
Enjoy (& get well soon)!
