Somehow, the indie rock band The Antlers never made it on my playlists. Now I stumbled over their song I Don’t Want Love and I’m totally smitten. The voice of singer Peter Silberman may not be clear and perfect, but it has something special and distinct. Combined with their (mostly sad tempered) lyrics it just sounds right and wonderful. I am totally for depressing music, because it calms me down in (bad or happy) stressful moments ;).
