Two years ago, Swedish indie pop band The Sounds was touring through the world with their album Something to Die For and I simply listened to their music because the crazy guy I fancied liked them. Until I saw them perform live… Singer Maja Ivarsson had an incredible power on stage (& I never fully understood how she was able to make all these moves in her very high stilettos). From this day on I really liked their unique sound. Now their new album Weekend is out and while first listening to it I realised that I missed their rock-pop-indie music. Good that they are back!
