Goosebumps: London Grammar!

Sometimes I listen to a song and it instantly hits me. That’s what happened two weeks ago: I lay in bed, nearly asleep, and the radio played Strong by the British trio London Grammar. I was fully awake then. My body reacted with goosebumps …and I get myself up again to note down the song title and the band. When I relistened to it in a more conscious mood, I was still smitten. I heard their big hit Hey Now before, but also the other songs of their album If You Wait are fantastic. They are often compared with indie-pop bands like The XX and I can’t deny that I thought about the similarities as well. However, the distinct compositions of their songs and the very special voice of singer Hannah Reid make the sound unique …and goosebumps producing.

Have fun while listening!
