The Here comes the sunscreen series by Nolan Conway for the New York Times made me really laugh out loud. Weren’t we all there? As a kid, I hated it when my mum tried to apply sunscreen on my face – in the worst of all scenarios at a hot beach, where sand was instantly mixed with the cream and making my whole face itching. Those days are gone now – because I as an adult I am completely aware of the dangers of direct sunlight and – obviously – using sunscreen without any complaint. But I still feel with those kid (and laugh at their sight).
I wish you a weekend that requires lots of sunscreen on your own faces!
