To get an idea for today’s Arts & Books post I scrolled through my bookmark library and deeply buried in my Arts folder I rediscovered the website of L.A. based artist Shae Acopian Detar and her Painted Portraits. – Those are fashion portraits that are not only styled and photographed by the artist herself, but also afterwards hand painted. The results are unworldly scenarios with fairy-like women, a mystical lightning and a certain 1960s/70s attitude. Fascinating and a big new art crush of mine!
