April Favs

April… This crazy month with all its unexpected weather changes – snow, rain, and sun in Germany in the last few days. But it’s also one of my favorites, because it always feels like a fresh start with the sudden exploding of all kinds of blooms and flowers, the easter festivities and the first days outside without wearing any winter clothes. So, its no wonder this month Favs turned out to be all sunny and summerly. Enjoy the first long bright days of this year!

This April I’m smitten with…

This wedding picture – wow, this orange dress rocks (via green wedding shoes)!

A southern weekend in the 1950s, photographed by Lisa Larsen for LIFE – looks like so much fun and you can almost smell the sunshine (via Miss Moss).

Pretty porcelain mugs – handmade and colours like icecream (by villarealceramics, etsy).

Peach and gorgonzola on a pizza? Sounds delicious. Plus chicken for all the meat lovers (via my recipes).

This photo in the Mes Dames S/S12 Lookbook (via Miss Moss) – makes me dream away to long walks in Paris’ Jardin les Tuileries and sitting on its benches, watching other people.

To-Do diagram by the gorgeous Wendy MacNaughton – exactly how my life looks like right now (and do you remember THIS diagram of her?).

A short film about Maia Helles, a 95-year-old Russian ballet dancer. Despite her high age, this lady is still incredible active and independent. Actually, she is able to make body moves that I myself have to admit, I cannot. What can be more inspiring than this strong woman (via Got a Girl Crush)?

And last but not least, some beautiful tunes to send you into the new week – Anneka via Lady.Bang.Beat.
