Shake your legs, I can hear 20s tunes!

Josephine Baker dancing the Charleston in 1926

Music of the 1920s always remembers me of two things: Extremely wild dancing (in one word: Charleston) and the tunes of black and white movies (Have you already seen The Artist? …Again, a point on my to-do list.).

International seen, it was the decade of Jazz music including such famous performers like  Louis Armstrong or Duke Ellington and also the blues became famous with Bessie Smith and Ma Rainey. These developments can also be heard in German music classics of 1920s. Here especially one star began to rise – Marlene!

So, have fun listening and dancing to the roaring twenties!
